What is forex?
Forex is derived from the word "Foreign Exchange", which means the exchange of foreign currency, or exchange of currency with one another.
The initial purpose of this money exchange is for foreign payments (especially imports exports). However, at a time there is a difference of suply and demand, thus causing the value of one currency compared to the other is changing.
for example like this: initially exchange rate of Rupiah to US Dollar is 1 USD = Rp 10.000
Due to the difference in demand and availability of Dollar, then the exchange rate is changing, it can be 1 USD = Rp 9,000 or even 1 USD = Rp 13,000
The existence of the difference of this exchange rate of money is then seen as an opportunity that can be utilized to take advantage if we hold / stockpile one currency.
Since there is such understanding ultimately the currency is traded in a market called forex market.
Forex trading is the activity of Buy (buy) or Sell (sell) currency continuously and consistently to gain profit.
